Municipal Solid Waste Elimination
TCE’s primary service is to provide MSW landfill reduction and disposition solutions to municipalities, refineries, electric power generation plants, and other facilities that generate carbonaceous waste. We offer a cost-effective method of eliminating their landfills, reducing the costs of handling MSW, and reducing the release of potentially harmful residue from MSW to the community. |
|
Mixed-Alcohol Alternative Fuel
TCE's primary product is the production of alternative fuels, including biodiesel and Dimethyl Ether (DME), both of which are produced by the gasification processing of multiple feed stocks, including MSW, fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, et al, from private and public resources. Derived from carbonaceous materials, these alternative fuels will have a substantial positive impact on our national security by reducing our dependence on foreign oil. |
|
Electrical Power
Gasification plants produce high temperature syngas that passes through a steam turbine which then generates electrical power. That electrical power first provides the electricity to operate the plant, and the excess power will be marketed back to the municipality or grid of the local utility. The plant will produce electricity to meets its own electrical needs. |
|
Alternative fuels produced from Municipal Gasification Power Generation Plants
As a separate market and production source, TCE plans to form partnerships with currently operating gasification power plants to utilize a “slipstream” (tap off) from their current syngas production to produce the alternative fuels, creating an additional source of revenue for the power company and millions of gallons of fuel per day. |
|
Military Field Support
The TCE System plants can be built to support field operations in remote areas where the military needs both electricity and fuel. |
|
Industrial Plant Off-Gas Remediation
Modified TCE System plants can be installed in series with the exhaust systems of refineries and other industrial facilities, using those carbonaceous exhaust gases to fuel production plants, enabling a solution for reducing the environmental impact of the industrial plant operations. |
|
Remove Methane from Landfills
Landfills generate carbon dioxide and methane (a powerful greenhouse gas) as a result of anaerobic activity in the breakdown of carbonaceous materials in the landfill. The carbon dioxide is soluble in water, but the methane is not. Lighter than air, it escapes the landfill and presents environmental problems. The EPA created the Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) to encourage municipalities and businesses to solve this problem to protect the environment. We provide the municipalities the service of removal of this methane, using it as a feedstock to our TCE System plants which will be built on or near the landfill sites. |
|
TCE System Plant By-Products
Several by-products result from the alternative fuels production processes, all of which are useful in industry. Those products include:
- Water – industrial plants use purified water for plant processes principally to minimize rusting of piping or contamination of process materials.
- Slag, Ash, Char and Tar
- Carbon dioxide
- Sulfur

|
Natural Gas Conversions
TCE's proprietary system can be used to tap into stranded natural gas fields and methane laden landfills to produce our fuel and/or electricity. |
|
Clean Coal Conversion
Coal is still the primary energy source for industrial size energy applications. Unfortunately traditional processing of coal to useable energy is also the most harmful to Earth's environment. Gasification of coal to produce electricity is a much cleaner alternative, and using our patented process will also result in the production of millions of gallons of alternative fuel every day. |

Project Management
TCE provides project management services to assist privately owned waste management companies to realize new methodologies in doing business. Privately managed waste control companies and governmental facilities face monumental issues regarding the disposal of waste materials and their by-products. The costs of disposal are rising and recent legislation is imposing stricter environmental requirements. TCE’s products and services are targeted at addressing the current and future needs of waste management companies. |
